Our staff is highly trained and has over 100 years of combined practice experience. We provide consistent, comprehensive, compassionate, quality care. We strive to provide a comfortable, stress-free, and pain-free environment for our hospitalized patients so that they get better faster. Lastly, we are motivated to meet your pet’s needs, whatever they may be.

Allen D. Reynolds
Allen D. Reynolds, DVM

Owner / Veterinarian

Practicing Since: 1987

Graduated from Michigan State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and in 1987 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, and The American Association for the Advancement of Science. Completed the Dale Carnegie course in 1995. His practice is limited to dogs and cats with a particular interest in internal medicine. Dr. Reynolds enjoys reading extensively, spending time with his long-time partner, Mary, and hanging out with his two cats, Marmalade and Mary.

Kelly
Kelly, Practice Manager

AAS – Veterinary Technology

Practicing Since: 2010

Kelly graduated from Baker College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2010. She worked in a large vet hospital in Chesterfield for eight years before joining our team in May 2018 to work close to home and with her two children. Kelly has three cats. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Veterinary Technician

Practicing Since: 2020

Emily graduated from Macomb County Community College with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2020. Emily joined our practice in 2018 as an intern and joined our team of technicians after her graduation in 2020. Emily has her dog Jersey, cats Bobbles and Ari, and her goldfish Cheeto. Emily can be found playing/watching basketball and spending time with her pets. Emily will soon be welcoming her first child.

Veterinary Technician

Practicing Since: 2011

Andrea graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife in 2006. Andrea also graduated from Baker College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2011. We welcomed Andrea to our team in 2022 after she moved to the area. Andrea has three cats and two dogs. Outside of work, Andrea loves spending time with her two children, hiking, reading, and painting rocks.

Veterinary Receptionist

Practicing Since: 2019

Alexis graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. She was a social worker before finding her passion in the veterinary field. Outside of work, Alexis can be found boating, reading, or with her four feline children: Crybaby, Sandy, Stella, and Abby.

Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant

Practicing Since: 2002

Carla earned her Certified Veterinary Assistant Certificate from St. Clair Tech in 2002. Carla joined our team in 2021 to be closer to home as her two children grow up. Carla’s pet parrot, Ruby, can be seen on Carla’s shoulder at the front desk from time to time. In addition to Ruby, Carla has three cats, three dogs, and a coop of chickens. Carla enjoys spending time with her family and building Legos with her husband.

Our Dearly Deceased Face of the Practice

14 years in practice

The face of the practice. Oversees all cat-related issues. Resides in the pharmacy area during regular office hours. Makes sure that staff members keep things picked up (marks on coats, purses, etc., left out in the lunchroom). Hobbies include drinking out of the water faucet, getting underfoot, and chewing on plastic. Also likes to give paw massages to favored employees.

Brooke joined our practice in 2024 to be closer to home. Outside of work, Brooke can be found at her photography studio, hunting, or spending time with her two dogs, Walter and Ivy.
